FINISHED SIZE: Larger is approximately 102” from wingtip to wingtip and 46” from the center spine to the bottom point. Smaller is approximately 65” from wingtip to wingtip and 28” from the center spine to the bottom point.
MATERIALS:
Expression Fiber Arts Pearlescent Fingering Yarn
Shown in colors: Garden Hues Kit (gradient fade) and Grace and Eggshell (1 skein each - striped version).
Approximately 1300 yards were used for the larger version and 640 yards for the small version.
NEEDLES:
US size 5 (3.75 mm) 32” circular needles or larger (for accommodating the larger number of sts at the end).
Adventurous Beginner - For those knitters who are ready to learn some new skills or stitch combinations. Stitches include: knitting or purling through back loop, eyelet stitches.
