Expression Fiber Arts Mirage Sport yarn

Shown in Viola Hues: A) Dark Purple, B) Purple, C) Dark Green, D) Light Green, and E) White [350 yds/320 m per skein (1750 yds/1600 m per five-skein kit)]

One skein each of five colors is needed.

If those colors aren't available, any from this category will work.

HOOK:

Size 4.5 mm or size needed to obtain gauge

Adventurous Beginner to Intermediate - This pattern is for those who feel comfortable with crocheting and have made a few projects, using various skills and techniques. Skills/concepts include Crossed Double Crochet, color changes, adding a border, optional fringe, and blocking.

Just like the tidal wave, the beauty of this shawl is the recurring colors that blend perfectly into the next. The fun part is looking forward to the next color change. Once you have mastered the Crossed Double Crochet stitch, this pattern is a breeze! Add the adorable, optional tassels on the ends to add some fun to your shawl.

• Gauge is important to this project. Each section uses nearly the entire skein of each color.
