Are you ready for The Journey?
This is a knitted shawl pattern, plus full written story and video guiding you along a journey.
•What have you been desiring? What dream have you shoved aside until the time felt right?
•It might be a tiny dream, or a huge one. Perhaps you are on a journey to love yourself. Or to write a book. Start a business. Be more mindful in your relationships. Spend more time creating. Find a new job. Start a family. Rest more. Speak your truth.
•Whatever your dream, know it is valid and worthy of your attention. You deserve for all good things to come your way.
•You will begin your journey in the Cabin of Complacency. You’ll venture through the Forest of Fear. As you continue, you’ll reach the River of Doubt. And, if you choose, you will climb the Mountain of Perseverance and be rewarded with what lies at the top.
•As you reach each phase of the story, you will knit a corresponding section of your shawl.
•I will be your companion on this journey toward your dream. And know, many others are journeying alongside you. They are smiling when you’re smiling, laughing when you’re laughing and crying when you’re crying. We’re all in this together.
Your journey awaits - are you ready?

SIZES: One size, 24” deep at center, 116” long at lower curved edge
MATERIALS: Alpaca Silk DK Yarn
Shown in Journey Hues kit. Also shown in Odyssey Hues kit.
Approximately 1020 yards were used for the sample. A - 180 yds, B - 220 yds, C - 210 yds, D - 185 yds, E - 225 yds (Note: If using a Mirage Dk kit which contains 210 yards per skein, you'll want to use all of each skein before moving onto the next skein, saving a few dozen yards of color D for the very end, to ensure you can make the entire shawl with 1 kit. Getting gauge is essential.)
NEEDLES:
US size 4 [3.5 mm) circular needles, 36” length (may be started on shorter needles and transferred to longer needles as required.) Please take the time to work a gauge swatch to ensure that you are working at the same gauge as the designer, as the yardages are tight, and you may run out of yarn.
Notes About This Pattern:
•This pattern is a 5-part shawl that corresponds to The Journey story and video included in the PDF.
•You'll follow along with the story and knit each section of the shawl as you come to it. The shawl includes cabin motifs, forest leaves, a river, mountains and a beautiful meadow/floral design.
•This is an intermediate pattern for those who feel comfortable with knitting and have made a variety of projects. It includes written instructions and charts.
•It's like a caressing hug! It really hugs the shoulders and makes for the most divine wrap!
•We hope you enjoy this journey to the next grandest version of yourself.
