SKILL LEVEL:

Intermediate: This pattern is for those who feel comfortable with knitting and have made a few projects, using various skills and techniques. Skills/concepts include short rows, chart reading, and garment sizing.

Notes from the Designer:

Tessitura is Portuguese for “texture,” and why, you ask, would I use a Portuguese word for this pattern? I lived in Portugal for many years, and when I first moved there, I was struck by the different textures everywhere I looked! From the clay roofs and cobblestone streets to the beautiful tile work and the abundance of terraced vineyards, textures everywhere!

This is a simple, top-down pullover that really showcases the textured yoke and then continues into a plain stockinette body and sleeves. The short-row shaping of the neckline is hidden in the neckband, and the body and sleeve lengths can be customized to suit your taste.
