Yak down is the softest of yak fibers and is warm with incredible insulating properties. Yak fiber is soothingly soft, but also surprisingly strong and durable. Breathable and anti-microbial, your fingers will thank you when you work with this luscious fiber!
With shine galore, silk produces long-wearing, durable projects. It is also an excellent insulator, keeping you cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Luxurious, lush, exquisite!

This color is phenomenal. The yak silk weight is light and so so very soft. But the color is glorious. I opened my parcel with trepidation, because the color is so pretty on the website. I was worried it would not live up to my expectations. And it surpassed them. The picture doesn't do the yarn justice.

this yarn is always wonderful quality, and so many yards for a larger project. when i got this colorway, there was a neon green dominance, which was not so evident in the photo. i combined with a lavender sequin yarn for a beautiful and interesting color combo shawl

The lovely colorwork is what drew me to this yarn. It is so far my favorite color combo. Of course, seeing it was made up in 50% Yak Down, 50% Silk, is what led me to order 2 skeins. The colors are even more beautiful once you receive it and actually see for yourself!! Can't wait to start my shawl!
