TEAL APPEAL - a GORGEOUS mix of teal tones. GASP! Oh ah oh ah!

YARN - DEWY DK WEIGHT - 70% Superwash Merino Wool, 20% Nylon, 10% Silk

This yarn is sumptuous. Ultra-soft and squishy, and sure to be a favorite. Machine-washable, with a hint of "dewy" glow from the silk and strength and longevity from the nylon. I had the mill spin this custom yarn to these exact specs so you'd have a versatile DK weight yarn not only beautiful to look at but also delightful to work with.

•4-ply: This produces a round, plump yarn, for beautiful, defined stitches!
•DK Weight (stands for Double Knitting): This weight of yarn is thinner than worsted weight and thicker than sport weight. It's incredibly versatile and can knitted or crocheted into an endless number of wonderful items. All types of accessories from head to toe...sweaters are amazzzing... soft, cozy, long-wearing afghans, and loads more. This yarn is ideal for baby items too, due to the softness and ability to be machine-washed.
•Yardage: 228 m / 250 yd
•Weight: 113 g / 4 oz
•Recommended Knitting Needle Size: US 6-8 (4.25 mm - 5.0 mm)
•Crochet Hook Size: G-H (4.00 mm - 5.00 mm)

Love the yarn but not the color

I love the yarn base. Very soft and squishy. The color however, is not nearly as vibrant and teal-based like the picture. I realize colors can vary because it's hand-dyed, but my yarn leans heavily to slate blues and grays instead of teal. There is no mention of gray tones in the description. Disappointed in the color because the pictures are gorgeous.

I love opening my envelopes from Chandi! The Teal Appeal Dewy DK is beautiful. So soft, too! Plus I was tickled to also receive a teal pen, teal pocket notebook and tiny teal zipper bag with Expression Art Fibers logo. I can't wait to get started on the cowl I'm going to make!!

This is my first purchase from Expressions Fiber Arts, although I have been drooling over her yarns for ages. I have been afraid that the yarn colors would not translate from their GORGEOUS online pictures to real life. This is no longer a concern! This colorway is so perfect, vibrant and beautiful! The fiber is very soft and knits up quick. Highly recommended!

Not quite the color in the picture

I was excited to receive this yarn, as teal is my favorite color. However, the yarn I got, while pretty, doesn't have any teal in it at all. It was more of a mix of blues. I will still use it and it feels nice, but I was disappointed by the color.
