YARN - ALPACA SILK DK WEIGHT - 50% Baby Alpaca, 50% Mulberry Silk

A heavenly, dreamy yarn that is ultra-soft, with a shimmering glow from the silk. Hand-dyed in radiant, dazzling shades! Wonderful for cozy, next-to-skin items like shawls, scarves, cowls, sweaters, hats, mittens and other accessories and garments.

•4-ply: This results in a long-wearing yarn that'll last for years to come.
•DK Weight (stands for Double Knitting): This weight of yarn is thinner than worsted weight and thicker than sport weight. It's incredibly versatile and can be knitted or crocheted into an endless number of wonderful items.
•Yardage Per Skein: 210 m / 230 yd (1050 m / 1150 yds per kit)
•Weight Per Skein: 100 g / 3.5 oz (500 g / 17.5 oz per kit )
•Recommended Knitting Needle Size: US 5-8 (3.75mm - 5.00 mm)
•Crochet Hook Size D-H (3.25 mm - 5.00 mm)

Note: Each skein is a hand-created, unique work of art and no two skeins will be identical, even within the same dye lot. If working with more than one skein in a project, it is best to alternate skeins every other row. Despite every effort to accurately depict our product colors, actual shades may vary due to differences in monitor settings.
