OCTOBER OPAL - a speckled mix of aqua, periwinkle, lavender, magenta pink, lime green and more. So gorgeous! (This speckled method is not as precise as our other methods, so please allow a lot of variance in the skeins. The skein shown is an average skein plucked from the pile.)

MERINO WOOL is ultra soft, creamy to the touch, cloud-like and breathes so you stay comfortable and cozy. We had these spun with a very fine merino wool so it's incredibly soft and wonderful for next-to-skin accessories and garments.

MULBERRY SILK is a dream... it glows and gleams and takes the dye so well, that the colors just pop like crazy. It also contributes to the lovely softness.

~When you combine these two fibers into a single ply yarn like this, you get subtle differences in tone as the wool and silk take the dye slightly differently. The colors truly appear to be iridescent and other-worldly.

The computer does not do it justice...it is gorgeous! Opal is my birthstone, and it is pleasingly represented in this yarn. I love Chandi's yarns!

Far darker than Advertised on the site.

I know computers make thing look slightly different with regard to colours but this is so much duller and darker than what I expected. The yarn itself is lovely and soft but the colour is putting me off.

So soft - great drape

I'm not done knitting this yet, but I'm making a wrap with this and it is so soft. It drapes so nicely worked on a size 5 needle. I cannot wait to finish the project with this color so I can get more in other colors.

I am not a lover of wool next to my skin. Even quality merino makes me itchy. I got a skein of this because opal is my birthstone and I love them. I decided to make a top down short top to wear over a tank but it worked up so nicely and felt so good against my skin I decided it had to be a wear alone top so I ordered another skeein. I knew it would be different - these are hand dyed so every one is different but the coloring blends wonderfully. I think it will be one of my favorite things and I'll post a photo on the Facebook bag when it's done. The silk with the wool is a wonderful blend.

I have been covering this yarn since I first saw it for October. It's such a beautiful speckled color and the sheen on the yarn makes it look as luxurious as it feels!

I thought the picture of the opal yarn was gorgeous, but it didn't even compare to the beauty and softness of the actual yarn. Can't wait to make it into something special that I think I will actually keep for myself this time.

This is so much better than I expected it would be. I was e xcited when I saw they had opal that I went ahead and pre-ordered a couple hanks and I'm so very glad I did. The colors look beautiful together and it just reminds me of the iridescent qualities of opal. This was also the perfect yarn base for this color, the shine just makes it. In love!
