I’m a new knitter too, so this took me a few weekends to get. I enjoyed being able to learn several new things at once— following a unique pattern, circular needles, etc. without getting too complex. This is NOT a “knit for distraction” type of project... To get the pattern right, and to make the most out of it, use a solid color yarn or a yarn that transitions from one color to another, and pay attention to the pattern. I used a mixed-color type of yarn and the beauty of the pattern was a bit lost. Fun project, will probably make it again.

I am a newbee knitter and not very experienced in knitting terms or knitting in general. I loved the pattern. I just started the decreasing section and all is still going great. I will post a pic once completed. Very easy to understand and makes a great pattern.

I made this hat on my long weekend away visiting the in laws it was easy enough to be able to visit and pick up and put down but interesting

This was a real simple hat pattern to make and one I may suggest my 4H kids class to consider making. It was a fun and quick knit with an easy to read pattern that gives the hat great texture and style.

The pattern is so unique and calls your eyes to look again.
