YARN: Yak Silk Lace – 50% Yak and 50% Silk

A buttery, shimmery yarn that's creamy to the touch and ultra-soft, like perfect baby's skin.
  • Yak down is the softest of yak fibers and is warm with incredible insulating properties. Yak fiber is soothingly soft, but also surprisingly strong and durable. Breathable and anti-microbial, your fingers will thank you when you work with this luscious fiber!
  • With shine galore, silk produces long-wearing, durable projects. It is also an excellent insulator, keeping you cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Luxurious, lush, exquisite!
  • When yak is combined with silk, you get an amazingly soft, lustrous, vibrant yarn that produces rich, bold colors that are impossible to ignore! Perfect for projects you want to treasure for years on end! Like a dream to work with!
  • Yardage: 680 yds / 630 m (3400 yds / 3150 m per kit)
  • Weight: 3.5 oz / 100 g (17.5 oz / 500 g per kit)
  • Recommended Knitting Needle Size: US 1-3 (2.25 mm - 3.25 mm)
  • Recommended Crochet Hook Size: B-D (2.25 mm - 3.25 mm)
Note: Each skein is a hand-created, unique work of art, and no two skeins will be identical, even within the same dye lot. If working with more than one skein in a project, it is best to alternate skeins every other row. Despite every effort to accurately depict our product colors, actual shades may vary due to differences in monitor settings.
