Notes from the Designer:
Waterfalls are somehow simultaneously peaceful and powerful, majestic and mellifluous. Long, shallow cataracts seem to drape water around the shoulders of land along a river, such as Mali’s Gouina Falls on the Senegal River. This shawl is designed to capture that shape and movement through a simple stitch pattern and colors that flow into each other. Much like its knitted cousin, crocheted linen stitch creates a fabric that appears almost woven. It's ideal for showcasing the subtleties of hand-dyed yarn.
