This pattern is designed for use with 3 skeins of our Alpaca Silk Dk yarn, in colorway: Pewter. Choose any colorway you like, though, or any Dk weight yarn. Our alpaca silk dk in particular creates an elegant drape that is hard to beat. It just feels luxurious draped over your shoulders and puddles and cuddles you!

•This poncho is crocheted in a rectangular shape and then seamed together using the Flat Slip Stitch Join.

•A special feature of this shawl is the popcorn stitch creating interesting columns connected with a web of chains and double crochet stitches. 

•It feels like you're wearing a hug. You'll want to wear this beauty everyday! 

•You can wear the longer point in the front or shifted to the side, depending on your height and style preference. 

Notes From the Designer: 

•My inspiration for this pattern is my love of culture and architecture. I have always been fascinated with the columns used in Greek and Roman buildings and wanted the design to showcase these columns. I am also enamored with  language and the connections made using the Internet, so the 'webbing' between the columns is my interpretation of all the global connections I have made.

•You'll need a size J (6.00 mm) hook. You'll want to be comfortable with basic crochet stitches.
