Notes from the Designer:
Flores is a unique granny square blanket that showcases several different floral designs, which are broken up by traditional granny squares. Each square is created individually and then sewn together using an invisible join. I hope you enjoy making this beautiful, fun pattern.
- The sample shown used approximately 1,270 yds/1,161 m total: Color A: 210 yds/192 m, Color B: 200 yds/183 m, Color C: 220 yds/201 m, Color D: 220 yds/201 m, Color E: 210 yds/192 m, and Color F: 210 yds/192 m.
- Starting chain does not count as a stitch.
- The squares are crocheted in the round with the RS facing you. Please note, some petals are crocheted in rounds with a RS and WS. However, they start on the RS of the work.
- All petals and leaves for each flower are worked in front of the squares and attached to the square by working a stitch through the petal/leaf stitch that is marked with a marker and the next stitch of the square.
- The first stitch of each round is the stitch that was slip stitched into in the previous round.
- When instructed to attach a new yarn color, the yarn color should be attached to the stitch where you last left off in the pattern.
- Stitch counts are given at the end of each round or the last round worked at the end of a repeat.
