ABOUT THE PATTERN:

A basic, ultra-easy, beginner scarf pattern.
You'll need to know how to work a slip knot, chain and double crochet. Even if you don't, I provide links to my video tutorials, so even those new to crocheting can make a scarf.

ABOUT THE YARN:

YARN - DEWY DK WEIGHT - 70% Superwash Merino Wool, 20% Nylon, 10% Silk

This yarn is sumptuous. Ultra-soft and squishy, and sure to be a favorite. Machine-washable, with a hint of "dewy" glow from the silk and strength and longevity from the nylon. I had the mill spin this custom yarn to these exact specs so you'd have a versatile DK weight yarn not only beautiful to look at but also delightful to work with.

•4-ply : This produces a round, plump yarn, for beautiful, defined stitches!
•DK Weight (stands for Double Knitting): This weight of yarn is thinner than worsted weight and thicker than sport weight. It's incredibly versatile and can knitted or crocheted into an endless number of wonderful items. All types of accessories from head to toe...sweaters are amazzzing... soft, cozy, long-wearing afghans, and loads more. This yarn is ideal for baby items too, due to the softness and ability to be machine-washed.

Beginner Crochet Scarf Kit

The yarn was soft and gorgeous, although the hank was a bit difficult to unwind and the color wasn't quite what I thought from the online photo (which is totally understandable). I also wish I had ordered 10 days later so it would have been on sale. That said, the kit was worth the price. The yarn is lovely, the printed pattern card is helpful, the crochet hook is a standard aluminum one but works well with the yarn, and the project bag is adorable. I definitely recommend watching the tutorial video. I love the way my infinity scarf turned out.

Beginner kit

This is not a kit for beginners. I received this and the instructions are impossible to understand. I have never crocheted before. I don’t know the first thing about it. I assumed this beginner kit would have illustrations and show how to hold the needle how to begin, etc. The instructions are abbreviated and I have no idea what to do or how to begin. I’m disappointed. I will have to go online to find videos of what to do now.

This is a wonderful kit! It has everything needed to make the scarf (including a hook) plus it comes in a cute little project bag. Great to give as a gift to someone who wants to learn to crochet - - or keep for yourself and have a small project bag for projects to take on the go.

I learned to crochet watching Chandi tutorials, ordered this kit and crocheted this beautiful scarf in no time. First crochet project I ever attempted and I could not be more pleased with the results!! Super easy and so pretty! I look forward to cooler weather so I can wear the scarf.
