Notes from the Designer:
The Angel Trumpet Sweater is a beautifully delicate and feminine sweater, featuring an elegant floral-inspired lace design around the shoulders. The soft, simple body allows the intricate yoke to stand out, while the relaxed shape gives it an effortless and timeless feel. It’s a lovely piece that can be dressed up or worn casually and has a light, graceful look.
- This is a circular yoke-neck pullover worked from the bottom up.
- The body and sleeves are worked separately in the round to the base of the yoke, and then joined to work the yoke.
- Short rows are worked at the lower back of the yoke and at the back of the neck for a more comfortable fit.
- Sleeve instructions are written to use DPNs. However an alternate method of working small circumferences can be used, such as Magic Loop.
- The lacy yoke is worked from a chart. You must be able to read charts to knit this sweater.
- As the yoke decreases, change to a shorter circular needle, Magic Loop, or DPNs when necessary.
- This pattern will be available on our website for a limited time. All pattern questions for this design should be directed to Claudia at patterns@eweknit.ca.
Happy knitting!
