US size ​​G-6 (4.0 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge

Adventurous Beginner - For crocheters who are ready to learn some new skills or stitch combinations. The stitches used in this pattern are simple double crochet and chain spaces. However, the pattern itself can be considered more challenging than normal, as the chain spaces are used to create a heart pattern.

Notes from the Designer:

Aimer means "to love.” Love is a choice that we have to make every day, and I hope this shawl can be a reminder that it is the best choice. This is a rectangular shawl that is worked lengthwise, starting from one side and working to the other. The chain spaces are used to create a pattern inside the shawl.

• The sample for this pattern was crocheted using a four-skein color gradient, with A being the darkest purple and D being the lightest purple. If you choose to use another color scheme, you can substitute with any color of your choice.
• Total yards used is approximately 1,540 yds/1,408 m total: Color A: 385 yds/352 m, Color B: 385 yds/352 m, Color C: 385 yds/352 m, and Color D: 385 yds/352 m.
• Because the shawl uses most of the yardage, take the time to do a gauge swatch to ensure that your gauge matches those given, so you don’t run out of yarn.
• Adjustments in size can be made by making a multiple of 28 + 3 for the FDC or 28 + 3 + 2 for the starting chain.
• Adjusting the starting Foundation Chain or chain will adjust the length (shoulder down).
• Starting chain for each row does not count as a stitch.
