A surprise skein for you! We'll select a random, full-sized skein of yarn for you! (Most valued around US $23-$39). It could be any of our yarn bases and any color. We are unable to take requests.

These may have boo boos or might not! Most skeins will simply be colors we decided not to add to our line (perhaps they look identical to another formula, for example), or they might have a flaw or two. Perhaps a speck of unintended dye color or a slight mill error. They might have white spots where the dye didn't take, be a bit of a messy or tousled or tangled skein, or just in general have a mistake or two. Regardless, you'll get gorgeous, hand-dyed yarn at a fun and reasonable price, plus be completely surprised when you open your package!

I ordered 4 and got 4 different types. They are so lovely. It’s my first time purchasing wool from this site. Ya can’t wait to try them all and do projects with them. I am so going to buy more sports yarn as well. It feels so amazing to the touch. If you are new to wool the surprise skein is a great way to be introduced at a great price and value.

I love these little surprise skeins! I think I have four or five now, no two alike! I like the challenge of a good one skein project and these work nicely for that. The “mystery” behind them is a nice little thrill! :)

This yarn is amazing. It's so soft. The color is gorgeous. I've only crocheted a swatch but the stitch definition is beautiful and I know from it my project will be amazing!

I ordered four "oopsy" skeins together to give them a try, and thought that even if I didn't love the colorways, I'd find some use for them. Well, I think the good folks at EFA went out of their way to find four coordinating colors, and they are STUNNING! I received one skein of Sincere Sock in a pale peach shade, and three skeins of Pearlescent Fingering in shimmering shades leaning toward natural, mint green, and fuschia. They really look like they're meant to be in a project together! I can't wait to use them. I'll definitely buy more "oopsy" skeins as they're available... what a fantastic deal!
