Notes From the Designer:
Capullo is Spanish for “Cocoon,” which is very fitting for this cocoon cardigan. I just love these types of cardigans, as they make you feel like you're wearing a nice, warm blanket. The cardigan is a square that’s started at the center, and then the edges are sewn together with a whip stitch, which leaves holes for the arms. A border is crocheted around the new edges to create ribbing.
- Click the Videos tab to watch a complete video tutorial on how to make this cardigan.
- The sample for this pattern was crocheted with a four-skein color gradient, with Color A as the bluest purple and Color D as the pinkest purple.
- NOTE: If you are making the Size M, you will need more than one skein of Color B. If you are making sizes M-5XL, you may need to purchase more than one kit or purchase individual skeins, as we do not break apart kits and sell the skeins separately.
- Starting ch for each round does not count as a stitch.
- Pattern is worked in the round with the Right Side always facing you.
- The two dc stitches at the beginning of each round are worked in the ch 2 space that's created at the end of the previous round.
