I joined the mystery CAL (my first!) and completed the first two sections before life got in the way and by the time I got back to my project Halloween was over and the final sections had been posted. I was so disappointed in the final look of the pattern that I never finished and will probably unravel the yarn to use on another project! So, no more mystery projects for me!

I loved the yarn. I joined the mystery cal and completed the project. I was very disappointed in the final pattern. I did not feel it was in keeping with the style of EFA. I have collected many of the patterns and love the contemporary designs. The AllHallows was very dated and frankly tacky. After posting my final picture, I immediately unraveled it. I purchased the Villiers pattern and plan to use my All Hallows yarn. I love all my yarn. I love the idea of the mystery project, but i will do a little more research before I dive into another one. Not for me

I was so excited for this MCAL (my first!), but after completing the first clue, I had such mixed feelings that I stopped working on my project to see what came next. After seeing the most recent photos, I'm actually really glad I didn't continue; in my case, it would have been a waste of both time and yarn. I find most Expression patterns to produce beautiful, elevated designs. This wrap is very campy/kitchy -- I might wear it as part of a witch costume, but I'd never wear it in real life. I'm sure that some people will love this light-hearted and very literal Halloween wrap, but it is definitely not my cup of tea.

I am loving this MCAL so far. Learning new crochet techniques. I love working with sock yarn and this is a great project to using sock yarn for more than socks lol!
