  • This pattern will be available on our website only for a limited time.
  • Read through the entire pattern before beginning.
  • The pattern includes stitch explanations, an abbreviation key, tips, alternatives, a schematic, and blocking directions.
  • Knit a gauge swatch in the round using US 7 (4.5 mm) needles in Stockinette Stitch, and BLOCK before beginning for an accurate fit. Move up or down a needle size (or two) if necessary. Schematic on page 9.
  • The designer is a tight knitter. 40-60% of knitters usually size down in needle sizes to match the gauge. Looser knitters may want to start on a smaller needle to gauge swatch.
  • Keep in mind that measurements listed in pattern are referring to the blocked measurements in gauge.
  • Most plant-based fibers will grow immensely with blocking. Blocking your swatch is very important to this knit.
  • To bind off loosely, move up 1-3 needle sizes.
  • This pattern contains links (in blue). Click the text in blue to be taken in a video or photo tutorial.
  • For a more fitted pullover, size down one size than suggested. For added drape, size up one size than suggested.
  • Adjust the length of the top by adding or subtracting rounds of stockinette stitch AFTER the increases, and BEFORE separating for the front/back panel. This creates the roomy balloon shaping for the bust.
  • If the waistband was knit in Single Rib Stitch in replacement of the Twisted Rib Stitch, use the same stitch on the neckline, arm edging and cuffs.
  • For a looser neckline, pick up all stitches versus the four out of five stitches listed in the pattern.
  • Decrease/Increase the length of the waistband by knitting to desired length before transitioning to the bust. For a slightly looser waistband, Single Rib Stitch may replace the Twisted Rib Stitch.
