Notes from the Designer:

The Big Horn Henley Pullover is a special piece that embodies the rugged spirit of the Bighorn Mountains. Its durable and textured design makes it the perfect choice for outdoor enthusiasts. If you have a loved one who appreciates the timeless allure of the outdoors, consider knitting this pullover for them. This worsted weight pullover is knit in the round and then split at the underarms. The sleeves are picked up and knit in the round, and the button band and collar are picked up and knit flat. There are two collar options, short or tall. Its modern, boxy, bottom-up knit and textured thermal design, featuring a functional button henley collar, make it a unique and heartfelt gift that embodies the enduring and rugged spirit of mountainous terrain.

  • This pattern will be available on our website only for a limited time.
  • The pattern includes stitch explanations, an abbreviation key, alternatives to customize your sweater, and a schematic.
  • Please make sure to read through the entire pattern before beginning, so you understand the alternatives available to you.
  • Before you start, knit a gauge swatch in the round using US 8/5mm needles in Broken Rib Stitch to ensure an accurate fit. You'll need to block the swatch to check the gauge. If needed, adjust the needle size or change yarn.
  • It is recommended to use wool or wool blends for blocking reasons, but all worsted yarns are suitable for this design.
  • If you decide to use a different type of fiber for this pullover, keep in mind that the drape and fit may be different, so keep an eye on the gauge.
  • As you work on the garment, be sure to try it on regularly to make sure it fits well.
  • Please look up any unfamiliar skills on YouTube or Google.
