Notes from the Designer:

Our beautiful Shimmering Shells is the perfect pattern for summer. Wear it on the beach or by the pool for a bit of coverage. You can also wear it as a poncho, or make it larger and seam it at the sides to make a ruana. Adjust the size too if you like. Make it wider, thinner, longer, shorter, the choice is yours. Made of airy, lacy stitches, this pattern is quick to work up and produces a lovely result.

• The Updated Version used approximately 1,282 yds/1,172 m total: Color A: 641 yds/586 m and Color B: 641 yds/586 m.
• The Original Version of this pattern used two skeins of Yak Silk Lace yarn in color Rice Paper.
• The sample is shown modeled on a 34” (86 cm bust).
• The pattern is adjustable. To make it wider, chain in a multiple of 19 + 18.
• To make the pattern longer, add additional rows to increase the length.
• Gauge is not crucial, but any adjustments to the pattern may require additional yardage.
